Friends and family gather for the annual Trucks for Smiles event in Somerset County

MEYERSDALE, Pa. (WJAC) Saturday was the fifth annual Trucks for Smiles event, hosted at the fairgrounds in Meyersdale. There were semitrailers, pickup trucks and even ambulances lining up at the Somerset Fairgrounds to participate in the Trucks for Smiles convoy.

Johnstown police department receives $200,000 check for mobile crime unit

The Johnstown Police Department was presented a $200,000 check today for a mobile crime scene vehicle. There are two active homicide investigations in Johnstown. One for the death of the owner of the freight station bar in late February, and one for the deadly shooting on Park Avenue in January.
