1 dead, 1 seriously injured after Jefferson County motorcycle crash, officials say

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) Jefferson County authorities say one person is dead and another seriously injured following a motorcycle crash on Route 36 Monday. According to Jefferson County emergency officials, the crash happened just after noon on the 800 block of Route 36 in Rose Township.

Officer, driver injured after man crashes into cop car during traffic stop on 219

RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (WJAC) Richland Township police have released new information regarding Wednesday night's crash on Route 219, in Cambria County, that sent two people to the hospital. Police say a Richland Township police officer was conducting a traffic stop, near the Elton Road exit, and a second officer had stopped to assist.

Trial date set for Somerset Co. inmate accused of killing corrections officer, DA confirms
