Vandalism at Laurel Hill State Park

The historical Laurel Hill State Park which features some of the last standing architecture from the civilian conservation corps has been vandalized. The state parks maintenance team discovered the vandalism in August and State Police began an investigation immediately.

Rail officials investigating 'minor train derailment' in Bellefonte

BELLEFONTE, Pa (WJAC) Officials with North Shore Railroad are investigating a minor train derailment that occurred in Bellefonte Friday afternoon. North Shore spokesperson Jeb Stotter confirmed that the incident occurred around 3 p.m. Friday in the area of Sunnyside Blvd., and it involved two locomotives that were pulling several train cars.
